How To measure PDF Print E-mail
This page is to help with measuring your area

Both for DIY (materials required)

or

Installation by us

The first thing to understand is that all Synthetic grass has a Nap (True direction of fibres). The grass must be laid with the Nap flowing in the same direction for optimum results.
Xtreme Turf rolls are predominantly all 2m wide for Landscaping - This reduces waste considerably and makes handling far easier.
When measuring your area it is best to draw a diagram (can be very rough).
Measure the length and the width - Multiply the Two figures and this will give you the area.
If you have curves or circles you must ' Box' up the area on your drawing - That is remembering the 2m wide rolls are of course rectangular when laid out.

Here is a few examples

A Simple rectangle is easiest this is Length x Width, in this case 8.75m x 1.5m = 12.75m2

This circle below has a diameter of 5.6m

So for this we "box" it into 3 sections

One panel in the middle - 2m x 5.62m and

                                 Two panels - 2m x 5.1m Total required 32m2

This one is a curve,

 Curve is "boxed" up into a rectangle 4.1m x 2.1m = 8.6m2
